Sarah Jane Ramos, the estranged fiancée of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, is in a good place less than a month after their relationship imploded in dramatic fashion.
Ramos and Prescott, both 32, are currently in the process of resolving their child custody issues outside of court, according to Page Six. The couple share daughters Margaret Jane “MJ,” 2, and Aurora, 10 months.
“The parties are working together,” Ramos’ attorney, Raymond Rafool, told the outlet. “My client’s very happy with the course that this matter is going.”
Prescott attempted taking Ramos to court last month, filing a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) on March 17, meant to determine parental rights and responsibilities for their daughters moving forward.

A hearing on the SAPCR filing was scheduled for Thursday, April 2, which the couple reportedly decided to forego.
“The case is not resolved, but the parties have agreed to postpone the first hearing in an attempt to work out all of the various issues without court intervention,” Prescott’s attorney, Levi McCathern, told Page Six. “Dak is an absolutely phenomenal father and is looking forward to working with Sarah Jane to develop a healthy coparent relationship and do what is in the best interests of his children.”
If the couple fails to negotiate an agreement outside of court, a hearing is scheduled for April 16.
Ramos and Prescott split last month, just weeks before the couple was scheduled to get married April 10 in Italy.
During a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in the Bahamas, Ramos discovered Prescott had been sending “inappropriate” messages to multiple women and “ex-flings,” according to Page Six.

Ramos’ representative confirmed the split to People on March 9, saying she and the NFL star were “both heartbroken that they’re not getting married.”
“There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead-up, and there was no big argument or blowup. It was a mutual decision,” the rep said. “They love their girls, and they’re committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way. It’s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.”
Wedding guests that had been invited to their big Italian ceremony found out about the split via email.
“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” the email read, obtained by TMZ. “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”
