Travis Kelce is celebrating Brittany Mahomes’ latest achievement.
“Truly honored to be inducted into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame!” Brittany, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, captioned a number of pics of the celebratory event via Instagram on Sunday, March 28.
“This City and this School is a huge part of who I am today, I will forever cherish this honor and am forever grateful for what this program did for me as an athlete and as a person!” she added. “Coach Webb, you brought out the best in me, this doesn’t happen without you!” Kelce, along with more of her friends and followers, supported her in the comments section.
“HOF BRITT!!!! LFG!” Kelce commented. His official Kelce brothers account added, “Congratulations!” Patrick also commented, “Congrats!!!! Love you!” while Erin Andrews wrote, “Congrats girl!!!!!”
Brittany Mahomes Celebrates Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement
Brittany attended the University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) from 2013 to 2016. During her time, she received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology while playing for the team’s soccer team. She ranked second in the school’s history in both goals and points.
Brittany isn’t just close with Patrick’s teammates —she became good friends with Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, who he has been with since 2023. Brittany and Swift, 36, have been seen cheering on their respective partners at Chiefs games and spending time together outside of Arrowhead Stadium.
One of their sweetest friendship moments came in January 2024, when they twinned in matching puffer jackets custom-made by Kristin Juszczyk. Brittany shared an adorable photo of the pair showing off their threads via Instagram at the time. “Twinning & Winning 💯,” Brittany captioned the post.
That same month, the friends went to dinner in New York City with Cara Delevingne. For their girls night out, Swift stunned in a black dress while Brittany looked chic in a black-and-white jacket and matching miniskirt.

The duo then hung out with Kelce and Patrick in September 2024 at the US Open. Swift and Brittany were even photographed hugging at the event.
Mahomes made sure to commemorate Swift and Kelce when they announced their engagement in August 2025, too. She shared a pic of Kelce getting down on one knee via her Instagram Story, writing, “Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two.”
