Human Barbie Doll influencer Bárbara Jankavski’s death is under investigation.
News broke in November that the influencer — known on social media as “Boneca Desumana,” which translates to “inhuman doll” — died at age 31. (Jankavski was also referred to online as “Human Barbie Doll.”)
In a police report obtained by CNN Brasil, 51-year-old public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto testified that he was with Jankavski the night she died. He also alleged that he hired her for “sexual services,” claiming they used illicit substances during their encounter.
He noticed that Jankavski wasn’t moving after she fell asleep and proceeded to call the Mobile Emergency Care Service, attempting to resuscitate her for nine minutes. Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead.
When Jankavski’s body was discovered by authorities, she was only wearing underwear, CNN Brasil reported, citing São Paulo State Military Police. She also allegedly had an injury on her left eye and marks on her back.
The police report claimed that Jankavski sustained the injury on her face in a previous accident, when she slipped and fell. The case was registered as suspicious.

The content creator amassed more than 57,000 followers on Instagram and 343,000 followers on TikTok, where she shared her cosmetic endeavors. The Daily Mail reported in November that she underwent at least 27 plastic surgeries — which cost her more than $56,000 total.
Her social media accounts have not been updated since her death. In the wake of her death, several users have paid tribute to the influencer.
“Rest in peace diva, you lived a bit of the life that I always wanted, that comforts us a bit 😢,” one user wrote via Instagram, while another added, “So young, may God receive her with open arms, and give comfort to her family and friends! 😢.” Another wrote, “Rest in peace Barbie 😢 Follow the light 🤍.”
Since Jankavski shared a TikTok of her channeling her inner Barbie in September, the comments section has been filled with users sending their condolences.
“You will always be a star my friend, thank you for being a light on my path. You will always be shining in my memories, thank you for all the magical and happy moments. ♥️,” one user wrote, while another added, “So young, so full of life… Rest in peace Barbara. May God receive her with lots of love and comfort all her family and friends.”
