The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi Ngatikaura had the most hilarious reaction to Mayci Neely’s hair transformation.
Jessi, 33, took to TikTok on Monday, December 8, to share behind-the-scenes footage from Mayci’s major hair makeover. The video began with Jessi slapping her hand over her mouth in shock while Mayci, 30, described what she wanted to do with her hair.
“Why are you making that face?!” Mayci asked Jessi, before the hairstylist cut the camera to Mayci arriving at her salon, JZ Styles, with her long, blonde hair. “I look crusty,” Mayci said while sitting down in the chair.
She told Jessi that she wants to be “really bright blonde” and to keep her extensions out. She motioned to where she wanted to chop her hair, to which Jessi gasped, telling Mayci that it was “way more than an inch and a half,” as Mayci initially thought.

Jessi then went in with lightener to brighten up Mayci’s roots. Next, she toned her strands with a slight shadow root before trimming Mayci’s ends and giving her face-framing angles.
After cutting her ends, Mayci decided she wanted to take off even more length for a dramatic transformation. Jessi, who was “shocked” to see her friend ditching her signature long blonde mane, gave her a nod of approval.
“I’m just shocked!” Jessi explained. “No, it’s gonna be perfect.”
She went back in and cut the rest of her mane before styling Mayci’s lob in big, bouncy curls.
“Love it!” Mayci said after seeing her finished look.

The camera then cut to the reality star all glammed up with a full beat. She donned bronzed skin, filled-in eyebrows, rosy cheeks and pink, glossy lips. Mayci made her look even more flirty with long lashes and black pigment tightlining her eyes. She played with her freshly cut tresses while rocking a wine-red velvet dress featuring a strapless neckline, a tight little skirt. She accessorized with gold bracelets and rings, as well as a sparkly necklace and dark red manicure.

Before chopping her mane, Mayci looked glamorous with extra-long extensions, courtesy of JZ Styles, that cascaded to her waist. She then trimmed her hair for the Hulu show’s season 3 reunion, which aired on December 4.

While recapping the season, Mayci stunned with her chest-length hair styled in neat curls. She pulled back strands and pinned some of her locks behind her head, leaving her face-framing pieces out. Mayci teased her hairdo with a full face of makeup, including long lashes that made her blue eyes pop, dewy skin and soft eyeshadow. The rest of her glam was completed with a juicy pout and she added more dimension to her face with glowy blush.
Mayci wore a brown one-shoulder dress for the reunion, featuring a bodycon fit and draped neckline. She added a touch of shimmer to her outfit with a diamond ring, a silver bracelet and coordinating sandals.
