Jesse ventura suggests president trump’s assassination attempt was fake

Former Minnesota governor and WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura made a bold claim about the apparent assassination attempt involving President Donald Trump

“You ever hear of a blade job?” Ventura, 74, asked on the Tuesday, March 24 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored

A blade job is a commonly used practice in professional wrestling, when wrestlers will intentionally cut themselves to draw blood for dramatic effect.

“A blade job? What, you think it was fake?” a clearly stunned Morgan, 60, said.

Ventura responded, “I don’t know. Where’s his scar?”

“Somebody died literally sitting behind him,” Morgan rebutted, referring to firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was killed by gunfire during the incident in July 2024.

The White House condemned Ventura’s comments in a statement to NewsPlop

“On that tragic day in Butler, Pennsylvania, we tragically lost an American hero, Corey Comperatore, who selflessly laid down his life to protect those around him,” spokesperson Davis Ingle said. “President Trump will never forget Corey and his beautiful family. On that dark day, God spared President Trump’s life by a miraculous millimeter.”

The statement continued, “President Trump is standing stronger than ever as he continues to ‘fight, fight, fight’ for the American people. Only a fool would believe otherwise.”

Politics aside, Ventura took major issue with Trump, 79, being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

“Trump being a Hall of Famer is a tragedy,” Ventura said. “This guy has never been in the ring.”

He added, “Donald Trump does not belong in the wrestling Hall of Fame. He never earned it. You know what I had to do to get in the pro wrestling Hall of Fame at one point in my career? I wrestled 63 consecutive nights in a row. That’s how you get in the Hall of Fame.”

When asked if Ventura — who served as governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003 — would consider running for office again, he implied a return to politics isn’t out of the question.

“I don’t necessarily intend to run again, but I’m working on something that could send me straight to Washington and go face-to-face with this guy,” he said with a smile. “Plans may be in the works.”

When Morgan pressed him for details, Ventura hinted, “You’ll have to find out, wait and see.”

“I’m not going to spill it here,” he said with a smirk, before adding, “Minnesota is now secure. We’ve repelled the onslaught from Trump. Now it’s time for us to go on the offense.”
