Elon Musk raised eyebrows after commenting on Sydney Sweeney’s boobs following the Housemaid premiere — and X users were quick to call him out.
Sweeney, 28, turned heads on Monday, December 15, wearing a low-cut white halter dress with full skirt at the Los Angeles premiere of her and Amanda Seyfried’s latest movie. Some social media users, Musk included, used the opportunity to comment on how Sweeney’s breasts looked in the gown.
Musk, 54, reacted to a video of Sweeney from the event by posting an AI-generated meme that pointed out the potential health risks of having a larger chest.
“Can’t be easy,” Musk captioned the post via X on Tuesday, December 16, seemingly referring to Sweeney carrying weight in her bust.
How Sydney Sweeney Overcame Feeling ‘Uncomfortable’ About Her Breasts
The meme he shared alongside the tweet showed a woman with larger boobs with the text, “What it looks like,” compared to “How it feels,” with an image of a spinal cord in pain due to being top heavy.
In the clip, the woman with big boobs says, “Ow,” hinting that her back is being affected by her chest.
Although the Cleveland Clinic reported that “people with disproportionately large breasts can experience pain in their back, neck or shoulders and other physical symptoms,” many social media users were taken aback by Musk’s unprompted comments about Sweeney and other women with big boobs.
“Don’t you have a rocket to build or something,” one user replied in the comments section. A second person wrote, “Why do I feel like Elon forgot that he was on his main account.”
A separate user pointed out, “She’s 30 years younger than you. Weird,” while a fourth account wrote back, “Not a fan of this one Elon.”
While some people on social media were distracted by Sweeney’s body in the sexy dress, others gave the actress props for slaying in the gown — which was reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic The Seven Year Itch dress that famously blows up over a steam grate.
“Beauties of their times,” one X user wrote, sharing side by side photos of Sweeney and Monroe.

Galia Lahav, who designed the gown, was over the moon about how it turned out. “What an ICON in our fully custom look ❤️ Such an honor!!!” the designer commented on Sweeney’s post.
Jamie Lee Curtis Reacts to Sydney Sweeney’s Sheer Dress at Variety Event
Sweeney, for her part, addressed rumors about her boobs being fake during the Thursday, December 11, episode of Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test.
“There’s been a question on everyone’s mind recently, and I just have to ask. Are your boobs real?” Seyfried, 40, asked Sweeney while she was hooked up to the machine.
Sweeney quickly answered, “Yes!” while laughing. Seyfried pressed further, asking if the actress had “ever had any work done on them.”
“No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere,” Sweeney responded. The test administrator confirmed that she was being “truthful.”
