Christina Aguilera has found her favorite new harmony with family.
The singer, 45, gave a rare glimpse into her personal life in a video shared via Instagram on Wednesday, March 26, which captured her special mom moments while making memories with her 11-year-old daughter, Summer, and fiancé Matthew Rutler, during a trip to Costa Rica.
“📍La Paz Waterfall Gardens & Wildlife Refuge … thank you for the wonderful tour and the breath of fresh air ☁️🩵🦋 pura vida xxx,” she captioned the clip.
The trio were seen soaking up the picturesque views while checking out the wildlife, including jungle cats at the animal sanctuary. Aguilera and Rutler, 40, were in great spirits as they made the most of their getaway, even sipping on a frosty beverage together and visiting a butterfly observatory. There was also a hummingbird garden, serpentarium and frog pond on-site.

Aguilera, who shares Summer with Rutler and son Max, 17, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, recently hit the stage at the Picnic Festival Centroamérica and performed several of her biggest hits on Saturday, March 21.
X-Tina previously spoke out about the joys of being a mother during an interview with Women’s Health in 2016, noting that it was still important to prioritize self-care. (She and Rutler got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2014 and welcomed daughter Summer later that year.)
“Mothers are constantly expected to be the nurturers, the givers, the providers of a comfortable home,” the chart-topping songstress told the publication for its March cover story. “We’re expected to be pregnant, have the kids, breastfeed once we have the babies. And we’re expected to look amazing after baby, right? Keep our husbands and boyfriends interested — because we’re supposed to get back to sexy and keep things exciting in the bedroom. There’s such a long list.”
“Having children is the ultimate joy, and I love my kids, but women have to find time to nurture themselves,” she continued. “If someone has a baby, the first thing I’m like is, ‘OK, are you taking care of you?’”

As for the couple’s wedding plans, multiple sources have exclusively told NewsPlop over the years that Aguilera and Rutler are still content even without exchanging their vows.
“There are no wedding plans at the moment. [Christina] and Matt are happy the way they are. They’re one of those couples who don’t need a document to prove their love for each other,” an insider said in August 2022, adding that they are “very much in love.”
