BTS’ Jin Announced as Gucci’s Newest Global Brand Ambassador, Continuing Post-Military Success

BTS Member Jin Named Gucci’s Newest Global Brand Ambassador

Jin, the eldest member of the K-pop supergroup BTS, has been named Gucci’s newest global brand ambassador, marking his second major brand deal since completing his 18-month mandatory military service in South Korea. Known to fans as “Worldwide Handsome,” the 31-year-old singer continues to live up to his nickname with this prestigious role.

Gucci announced on Wednesday that Jin will join their esteemed lineup of brand ambassadors, which includes NewJean’s Hanni, Miley Cyrus, Squid Game star Lee Jung Jae, and Korean rapper Jay Park. As a global ambassador, Jin will represent Gucci across various initiatives and events.

“Gucci is an iconic brand with a rich heritage and a modern vision,” Jin said in a statement. “It’s both meaningful and thrilling to be part of such a renowned house.” Jin also expressed his admiration for Gucci’s creative director, Sabato De Sarno, who in turn praised Jin’s unique style and magnetic personality. “He is a generous and extraordinary artist who moves people with his music, making it an honor to share this journey with him,” De Sarno added.

Jin was the first member of BTS to return to the public eye after completing his military service, while the other members continue to fulfill their duties. After his discharge, Jin participated in several select events, including a special gathering where 1,000 lucky fans, chosen through a raffle, had the chance to hug the singer. Jin also made a memorable appearance as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics, representing South Korea.
