Farrah Abraham‘s daughter, Sophia Abraham, is sporting new ink.
The Teen Mom alum joined Sophia, 16, for a trip to the tattoo parlor, documenting their visit in a video posted to her social media accounts on Wednesday, October 8.
Orlando-based artist Nick SL did the artwork, outlining three black bat tattoos on each side of her stomach before filling them in to create a matching set.
“This is so surreal @sophialabraham @nick_sl_art First #tattoo memory!” Farrah captioned her now-viral post.
Farrah, 34, revealed that Sophia got her “first tattoo” in a previous clip she uploaded, teasing a shocking announcement as both looked anxious to share the news.
“We have a surprise for you guys,” Farrah wrote with a cryptic pregnancy emoji as Sophia cradled her tummy, before the duo cleared the air with a smile and unveiled her fresh ink.
In response to the TikTok clip posted by Sophia, the former Teen Mom OG star — who gave birth to her first and only child on the first season of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant — cheekily replied with a sigh of relief, writing, “Thank god.”

Following their visit, the mother-daughter duo also posed for a quick selfie with the tattoo artist. “I love my bats sm,” Sophia captioned her post, giving a glimpse at her edgy manicure ahead of Halloween.
“It’s officially spooky month! 🎃🖤,” Sophia wrote on October 1.
Just a few weeks ago, Farrah responded to a fan’s praise on Instagram after Sophia debuted a bold new look with her vivid orange bob and dark goth-glam makeup.
“Love that she lets her be who she feels and wants to be and Sophia is beautiful,” one social media user wrote in the comments section of the September 18 post, to which Farrah replied with several fire emoji the following day, brushing off backlash from other commenters.
Farrah recently spoke to NewsPlop about her own self-love journey ahead of her episode of A&E’s docuseries Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes, which aired on September 22.
“I actually love who I am at 34, but it has taken such a long way to get here to just be like, ‘Hey, this is plain Farrah, love that skin you’re in.’ And I needed this, and I think I needed to feel this alone, not with someone around me,” she told Us. “Because, like, my brain gets confused sometimes, of like, you know, happiness with relationships, but it’s actually happiness with self.”
Although she has yet to address the latest criticism, the MTV alum defended her decision to allow Sophia to get snakebite lip piercings two years ago.

“I won’t be shaming my daughter, I LOVE and support Sophia 100 percent on who and what she wants to become,” she told In Touch in a statement in February 2023.
“The mom-shamers should recognize what some kids will grow out of and what they [will not]. That’s part of a teen journey as I don’t have my belly button piercing anymore,” she continued.
The Love Through Limelight author went on to say that she loves “having a teenager.”
Farrah added, “I have all the compassion for her as I wish I had as a teen.”
