Kristin Cavallari is making waves — and we’re not just talking about the oceanfront drama of Laguna Beach.
The reality TV star, 38, dropped a sneak peek of her Laguna Beach reunion look and it’s giving still the queen bee energy. In a mirror selfie shared via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, October 7, Cavallari posed in a striking strapless cobalt blue bodycon dress that hugged every curve.
Her outfit was sleek, sculpted and effortlessly sultry, proving that while high school may be in the past, Cavallari’s fashion game is very much at the top of the class. She teamed her look with silver hoop earrings, and a bold, statement cuff bracelet on her right arm featuring a twisted, sculptural design. On her left hand, she wore a chunky silver ring and delicate band.
Cavallari styled her blonde hair in soft, beachy waves and had a glowing camera-ready complexion.
The Uncommon James Jewelry founder didn’t only tease her look for the highly anticipated special, she also shared a behind-the-scenes snap with her glam squad, giving fans a glimpse of her pre-reunion prep.
“Laguna reunion!!!! With the best @ash_kholm + @alexbrownhair,” Cavallari captioned her makeup-free shot, rocking a blush pink sweatsuit as the trio posed for a quick photo.
‘Laguna Beach’ Cast: Where Are They Now?
Cavallari made headlines when she returned to her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast this week following a one-month hiatus, dishing about how she and Stephen Colletti pushed for the Laguna Beach reunion.
“I am so excited. OK, so how this came to be. This has been in the works for a minute, you guys,” the New York Times best-selling author shared. “Stephen and I, we obviously did the ‘Back to the Beach’ podcast, which wrapped, I mean, over two years ago.”
She noted how that podcast led to a brainstorming session, adding, “It’s funny because Stephen and I talked about how we would love to do a reunion in Cabo. How fun would that have been? Getting the whole cast to Cabo and doing it like at Squid Roe [nightclub] with a live audience,” she said. “It would have been so fun, but unfortunately, the producers didn’t go for that.”
Cavallari said getting former costar Lauren Conrad to be a part of the production was another big step before the two-hour special finally “found a home” on Roku.

“We got Lauren on board, which I know is huge, because I know she in the past has not done much. I think the ‘Back to the Beach’ podcast was the first thing she had done. So that was very cool,” Cavallari continued. “The three of us are executive producers.”
Producer Liz Gateley, who created the original series, has also been booked for the reunion.
“I don’t know exactly what I can or can’t say,” Cavallari admitted. “No one has told me specifically, but I’ve seen everyone else be pretty vague on social media, so I feel like I should follow suit because I’m typically the one that says too much and then I do get in trouble for it.”
Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion will air on The Roku Channel in 2026.
