3 most popular netflix movies right now (march 26-31)

One of the best things about Netflix is that it never seems to run out of fresh movies, even near the end of a month.

The vast majority of streamers are very front-loaded with films at the beginning of the month, so it’s refreshing when Netflix has something new to show off.

This week, the remake of Anaconda is making its streaming debut as part of Watch With Us‘ picks for the three most popular Netflix movies that you need to watch right now.

Our remaining selections include a sequel to a crime drama and an underrated sci-fi flick.

New on Netflix in March 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows

‘Anaconda’ (2025)

How do you remake a campy ’90s horror flick like Anaconda? Sony’s answer was to go even campier for the reboot and embrace the inherent comedy that Jack Black and Paul Rudd bring to the new version. Ronald “Griff” Griffin (Rudd) and his friend, Doug McCallister (Black), are both big fans of the 1997 Anaconda film starring Jennifer Lopez. So when Doug secures the rights to remake the movie, Griff joins him on an excursion to shoot it alongside their friends, Claire Simons (Thandiwe Newton) and Kenny Trent (Steve Zahn).

This production was cursed, even before a real giant anaconda snake shows up to terrorize the small crew. Doug and Griff may have loved Anaconda, but they’re not thrilled to be living in it. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Ana Alemeida (Daniela Melchior) joins the crew, and she might be more dangerous than the snake.

‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ (2026)

The period crime drama Peaky Blinders was one of Netflix’s most popular shows, and the franchise is alive and well with a feature-film follow-up, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy is back as Thomas Shelby, the former leader of the Peaky Blinders gang. Thomas had his time in the sun, but he’s been out of the game for a long time.

Questions About the ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie That Need to Be Answered

During World War II, Nazi agent John Beckett (Tim Roth) has a plan to take down the United Kingdom from the inside. Current Peaky Blinders leader Erasmus “Duke” Shelby (Barry Keoghan) has no qualms about helping John achieve his goal. While Thomas has largely stayed out of his son’s way, Duke’s actions will draw his father out of seclusion and determine the future of both the gang and their nation.

‘The Creator’ (2023)

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards took a very long hiatus before he made his next film, The Creator. The sci-fi movie takes place a few decades in the future as the conflict between humanity and AI erupts into an all-out war. Some of Earth’s nations are standing with the AI, but Sergeant Joshua Taylor (John David Washington) isn’t among those traitors. He’s still angry and bitter about the death of his wife, Maya Fey (Gemma Chan), and the loss of half of his limbs during an AI attack a decade prior.

Taylor’s former commanding officer, Colonel Howell (Allison Janney), pulls him out of his self-imposed retirement for a new mission. The creator of the AI has supposedly developed a new weapon that can remotely control all technology, which would inevitably lead to humanity’s defeat. But when Taylor comes face-to-face with this “weapon,” he reconsiders what he’s really fighting for and whether he should go through with his mission.
